Water Jet Cutting
Harmony Metal Products is pleased to announce the purchase of a new 2011 Mitsubishi Waterjet Cutting System. The Water Jet is installed and in production.
With a 109" X 338" cutting table, powered by a 125 hp, 90,000 psi KMT pumping system, our new Waterjet will cut virtually any material and hardness with an accuracy and repeatability of +/- 0.002 inches. The machine is equipped with dual cutting heads, true CNC control, full CAD/CAM capabilities along with a four (4) axis intelligent taper control.
- Material cutting thickness range is 0.005"-8".
- Minimal material waste is achieved by using narrow kerf widths along with computerized part nesting.
- Waterjet cutting is a versatile process that eliminates distortion and HAZ (heat affected zones) that occur with other cutting methods.
